Prayer Request

Let Us Join You in Prayer

If you’re struggling with a challenge, whether that be an illness, loss or some other trouble, you’re never alone. All prayer requests will be held in confidentiality by our church prayer ministry and the Order of St. Luke.

The Order of Saint Luke is many things: an ecumenical, world-wide, dispersed religious order,  a home and respite for all who love the liturgy,  a praying community of support and fellowship…  however, the order is guided by two foundational pillars.  Devotion to sacramental and liturgical scholarship, education, and practice – in the words of the Rule of Life and Service, they magnify the sacraments and promote the corporate worship of the Church.  Also, the Order of St. Luke is rooted in a particularly Lukan spirituality – seeking sacramental life and we affirm the apostolic hope.

For prayer request, contact our church parish administration at admin@stpaulspayson.org or contactin us through the contact page on this website.

Prayer in Grace: Formed by Faith, Shaped in Community

At Saint Paul’s prayer is both a deeply personal conversation with God and a shared act that shapes the life of the community. Rooted in Scripture and the Anglican tradition, Episcopal spirituality emphasizes common prayer—especially through the rhythms and liturgies of the Book of Common Prayer—as a way of uniting diverse people in a shared voice before God. Praying in community is not simply about individual intentions spoken together; it is a formative practice in which worshippers confess, intercede, give thanks, and listen collectively, becoming the Body of Christ through word and sacrament. In this tradition, communal prayer reflects the belief that faith is lived not in isolation but in relationship—with God and with one another.
